The initial impression is one of brightness and cleanness, expected in Costa Rican coffees. As the coffee cools the predominant notes are honey-graham cracker, and undertones of citrus and vanilla wafer. Silky in mouthfeel, and sweet, with distinct melon and floral notes. This bean could keep company with Costa Rica’s top-tier coffees. Good thing for us it stayed under the radar.
