The initial impression is one of brightness and cleanness, expected in Costa Rican coffees. As the coffee cools the predominant notes are honey-graham cracker, and undertones of citrus and vanilla wafer. Silky in mouthfeel, sweet due to the Miel (honey) processing, with distinct melon and floral notes. This bean could keep company with Costa Rica’s top-tier coffees. Good thing for us it stayed under the radar.
