This is a pulped-natural (miel-processed) coffee where the berry is picked ripe, de-skinned and dried on raised screen beds with its mucilage intact. This method imparts lower acidity, tons of body, a very different flavor profile than other El Salvador coffee. The cup flavors are nut-to-chocolate, dense body, and fruited notes lurking behind. It’s chocolate initially, but apricot notes emerge as the cup cools down.

This is my new favorite coffee! The low acidity is easy on my stomach, and the taste is unbelievably rich and flavorful. There are lots of chocolate notes and some complex, but smooth fruit flavors as the cup cools. This one is special.

I have enjoyed El Salvador coffees before, but this one is WAY better than my prior experience. Every person who has this coffee says it is GREAT. It is hard to describe, but the flavor and mouthfeel are SO nice … Peter, you really knocked it out of the park on this roast!
